lovely item - bad stain

I am very, very pleased with the shape and height of this water bath. Both my small dog and my visiting birds enjoy some fresh water in the border.
HOWEVER, the walnut color started fading almost immediately - after 2 months, the water bowl is nearly gray. I don't recommend ordering this item in a strong color. In a more "stone" color, it is a beautiful and useful item.
