GREEN POLICIES

While it has always been our policy to recycle and reuse whenever possible, in 2008, Garden Artisans will be making every effort to help aid in conservation of all our precious natural resources. Below is a list of our green policies.

• Recycle all cardboard
• Print catalog on recycled paper
• We only send our catalogs to our existing customers and those who request one via our website. If you'd like to be removed from our mailing list, please follow the directions below.
• Set all computers to go to "sleep" mode when not in use
• Send invoices via email when possible.
• Reuse peanuts, bubble wrap and any other packing material
• Use recycled paper company-wide
• Swap all incandescent bulbs to CF bulbs where possible and recycle all CF bulbs
• Continue to supply products that will last and not end up in a landfill in one year

We know it is hard for people to believe there are customers out there not on computer, but we get calls daily from people asking for a print catalog. So we will continue to print and mail our catalog when requested to do so. If any of you would like to remove your name from our catalog mailing list, please send an email through our "contact us" link requesting that your name be added to our no mail list.

We cannot stress enough the importance of buying products that will last. Not only does it conserve your dollars in the long run, but it also helps to conserve the Earth's natural resources. Many of our artists reuse materials in their creations and all do their best to recycle their scraps.
