FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT TABLETOP GARDEN SPRITE

Midway Gardens was built in 1913-1914 (demolished 1929) as a city block sized restaurant and entertainment complex. Adorning the structure were many sculptural objects executed by Alphonzo Ianelli with whom Wright collaborated on a number of projects. These Sprite Sculptures are reproductions of the originals that sat atop the exterior walls.
