Detailed Description
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT - STORER STEP STONE
Frank Lloyd Wright pioneered his "textile block" concrete-block houses in California. Wright wanted to design houses that could be built cheaply using inexpensive materials. In the 1920s Wright designed a number of houses in California using precast "textile" concrete blocks reinforced by an internal system of bars. The home built for Dr. John Storer seventy years ago exemplifies this style.
Made from hand cast cement. Shown in tan. Measures: 12" x 12" x 2" - 15 lbs.
