Curlex® Enforcer® is a heavy duty excelsior erosion control blanket specifically designed to provide extended protection for grass seed and topsoil from wind and water erosion for 36 months plus, while simultaneously promoting ideal growing conditions on steep, long slopes and/or in channel applications. Excelsior blankets do not contain any chemical additives, weed seed or foreign matter.

Curlex excelsior blankets have long passed the test of time. By design, Curlex blankets have a built-in swell factor - wet curled excelsior fibers expand in thickness and interlock to form a strong, fiber matrix. This allows the fibers to provide intimate contact with local terrain. Water flow is trained to follow the curled fiber matrix. The roughness of the curled excelsior matrix slows the velocity to a point where gravity takes over, which allows moisture to slowly seep into the topsoil to promote ideal growing conditions.

- Resevoir embankments and spillways
- Culvert inlets and outfalls
- Dikes, levees and riverbanks
- Areas associated with concentrated water flow exceeding the performance capability and service life of a standard biodegradable blanket
